My fiancé and I are first time home buyers and we could not have picked a better realtor than Robby. Not only that, we ended up building which adds a whole other layer. Robby was present every step of the way. He answered every question we had with kindness and knowledge of the entire process. He was attentive to details and to our needs. His response time and availability to us was so comforting because we had so many questions. Having to deal with builders and contractors was sometimes difficult but Robby stood up for us and what our dream was for our house. We plan on being in this house for a very long time but if/when we decide to move we will choose Robby again and again!
The Nashville real estate market is WILD. You have to have someone who knows what they are doing, truly cares about your experience and goes to bat for you on the gritty details. That person is Robby Stone. We had a unique situation in that we were living in NYC and trying to buy our first home primarily from afar. Robby went WAY above and beyond for us- sending videos, FaceTiming when possible, constantly sending us home options he knew we would like after spending time getting to know our wants and needs in a home. He provided the perfect amount of guidance and information without ever pressuring us or making us feel dumb (we were).What other realtor would spend their time going to countless homes by themselves and making (hilarious) walk-through videos? No one but Robby! One of the best things about Robby is how loved and respected he is by everyone in the industry. He is kind but firm when he needs to be and every person we worked with in the process of buying this home was obviously a huge fan of him. It meant a lot to us to work with someone with such integrity that we could trust even from hundreds of miles away! In the end, we found a home we LOVE and it wouldn’t have happened without his tireless efforts. Robby Stone is the best in the game. Period.
This guy is great! We met Robby two years ago at an open house when our son was looking to buy a home. We had a great conversation then and when my husband and I decided to move from Indianapolis to Nashville, we called Robby – and nobody else! He is very genuine and could not have been more helpful. Nick’s ability to sell a house is unmatched. His marketing materials were remarkable, producing 62 showings in one week with multiple offers above list price. The offer we went with exceeded our wildest expectations. While under contract, there was zero stress. Nick was fantastic to work with through the home buying process, especially in such a difficult market! I started looking for houses in Nashville before 2019. It’s the age of the internet, and I downloaded every real estate app, scrolling through listings after listings. This was a good starting point to get a feel for different styles of homes, but once my older sister insisted I use her realtor, this changed everything.
Let me start off by saying, Robby Stone is a charmer, his Southern hospitality mixed with a hipster daper will instantly catch your attention. But it is his intuitive ability to know your preferences and his meticulously attention to details, that will set your anxiety at ease. He was extremely honest, during our first viewings, he walked around the exterior of the home, looking for termite traps, cracks in the foundation and elevation of the yard for flooding and drainage. There were homes, to which he would point out rennovation mistakes, structural issues or intuitively know it was not the right fit. I live in California, and could not fly to Nashville every weekend to continually look for a home and I needed someone who could scope out the neighborhoods and give me a honest interpretation. Robby sent amazing videos and found my dream home.
The purchasing phase, this is a crazy market. Remember, I started looking for homes in Nashville before 2019, and in 2 years, witnessed the prices of these homes increase by over 100K. Every news analyst and investment YouTube channel kept saying the bubble will burst. Maybe it will, but I placed bids on 4 different homes, offering up to 20K over the asking and I was buying in cash but still lost. Robby was extremely helpful, showing me the recently sold homes in the area. I did not once feel pressured, and there were some homes, to which I was on the fence, and he was the one to talk me out. He found my dream home. He was instrumental with the communication between the seller and myself and managed to smooth out all issues. His assistant, Robyn, was extremely quick with a list of insurance and warrenty agents, inspectors and title companies. They literally held my had through the entire process, making a buying a house pretty easy. I am told this is not a typical experience.
Please use a realtor, there were so many things about this process that I had no idea existed, this was definitely a Dunning-Kreuger situtation for me.
I’ve already referred Robby to my friend who is also in the market.
Huge thanks to Nick and his team for helping us make the big move from Los Angeles to Nashville a breeze! We got the house we wanted with the exact price we offered (25k below list) and closed in 2 weeks!! There were a few times during the house hunting process I wasn’t able to be there and Nick was upfront and honest about the quality of the houses instead of trying to get a quick sale. He really earned my trust and was looking out for us. He was kind and patient and didn’t put us under pressure. It felt like he was on our side the whole time even after the papers were signed. Robby is amazing! As first time home buyers who are new to Nashville and buying remotely from out of state, it was really important to us to find a realtor we could trust. Robby toured homes for us over video calls, pointing out all the pluses and minuses that our untrained eyes wouldn’t notice, from old electrical to hidden hardwood floors to how much crawl space encapsulation might cost. He had endless patience for our questions and was more than happy to revisit homes again after we thought of more questions. The best part: Robby found a house in our favorite neighborhood before it went on the market, through his connection. We’d been scouring Zillow etc. daily and inventory in our price range in East Nashville was scarce, so we were incredibly lucky he found it for us.
He was very responsive and in frequent contact with the seller’s agent to ensure we didn’t lose out on that window of opportunity. Once we got under contract, Robby helped us navigate a somewhat unusual contract and deftly negotiated more for us. If you’re looking for a realtor who’s patient, responsive, experienced, and has your best interests in mind, Robby will take great care of you!
Robby was an excellent realtor, one of the best I have dealt with over the years of buying houses. He has a great knowledge of Nashville and for us East Nashville where he lives and really understands that special market. This was one of the smoothest buying experiences that we had. We found our dream home and knew it would be contingent on selling our current home, which was nowhere near ready to list. We knew it was a long shot but called Robby to see if it would be possible. He immediately jumped into action and was the perfect balance of dreaming big with us and managing expectations and “keeping it real.” Robby was responsive, organized, kind, helpful in every way possible, thorough, professional, innovative and creative in his approach to help us make this happen, and (bonus points) just hilarious and a JOY to be around. Robby enthusiastically played a full-out game of hide and seek with our kids in the new home. That’s all you need to know about the kind of person he is.

I was admittedly a bit of an anxious buyer and Robby was so patient every time I changed my mind or freaked out for a minute. His connections in the market also allowed us to view a house before it went on the market and meet the builder. That meeting was the reason that we got the house.
